TIMESMALAYSIA, JAKARTA – The Chinese government has built 2 hospitals that provide special treatments for coronavirus 2020 patients within 10 days in Wuhan, Hubei, Central China. This is how it looks.
The target of building Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital within 10 days seems to be successfully achieved by the Chinese government.

These hospitals were built and prepared to give special treatments for patients with coronavirus infection. The target was that the building of Huoshenshan Hospital can be finished on 3 February 2020 and 5 February 2020 for Leishenshan Hospital and can serve the patients of coronavirus immediately.

Huoshenshan was built on an area of 269,000 square meters and currently has the capacity of 1,000 beds, while Leishenshan hospital was built on an area of 323,000 square meters and has a capacity of 1,300 beds.

These hospitals were built based on the blueprint of Xiaotangshan Hospital which built within a week with the capacity of 1,000 beds while the SARS outbreaks occur in 2003.
The building of these hospitals was using the prefabrication unit or modular construction, which is the main key to its rapid construction.

The rooms were made and assembled in the factory which can immediately be transported by trucks and put in their places. This construction technique is claimed to be completely safe.
With this construction technique, the Chinese government has been successfully built 2 hospitals for coronavirus infected patients within 10 days in Wuhan, Hubei, Central China.(*)
